A View to the West
These towering giants rolled through one afternoon, dwarfing the people on the beach. Our friend, the late Chuck Rogers, used it as the cover for his book on Sanibel Island philosophy.

Bee n Coneflower
I really enjoy taking pictures of bees on flowers and when the bees are busy, they tend to ignore you. This is a Photoshop “painting.”
Malachite Butterfly
This species is native to Florida but difficult to find; this was taken at a butterfly exhibit.
Bamboomix
Just some great textures and colors. It really embodies the tropical atmosphere.
Black Cloud
This picture was taken shortly after our move to Florida and I really related to this little cloud, all alone amidst the beauty.
Fossil
“Fossil” was an experiment with textures and double exposure using Photoshop.
White Mum
I just love the abstraction of the forms. The designs in nature are marvelous.
The Beach
Although the summer is too hot for someone with MS to deal with, the hour or two before sunset is great at the beach. There is always a breeze, and often storms blow in quickly. The drama of a storm with the colors of sunset is a great photographic opportunity.
Aroma
“Aroma” is the visualization of the scent of a peony. This was taken in our home garden up north.
Spacial
These clouds were an interesting grouping and great color, but my favorite thing about them is that they really look like a painting to me.
